I really need to turn off that time stamp. I like having it there for family photos so I know exactly when they were taken (and WILL know in the future) but for stuff like this it just looks bad. I still like the photo though and am using the arch of the branches as my interpretation of “round”. This was a path that led all through a forest and down along this lake:

Heron in Florida
I’m going to be honest here and say that every photo I’ve submitted to the photo challenge had been taken months, sometimes years, ago. I use this particular challenge when I’m not feeling up to writing. It’s like my “pass” on blogging but I’m still creating a post. From now on I promise to make more of an effort in taking a good and recent photo. My apologies for not taking this more seriously. hopefully you’ve enjoyed the photos anyway. Next week I’ll try to blow your socks off to make up for it. Deal? Alrighty then.
My interpretation of this weeks photo challenge topic: lines, The Coliseum in Rome. It really doesn’t look that big until you notice how small the people are standing next to it. Rome is always an interesting experience.

This is an attempt to join in the post-a-week photo challenge. It’s an older photo but I’ve always loved it and thought it fit well with the theme. Next week I’ll try to take a new photo and I’ll turn off that ugly time stamp. Sorry.
